With the right technology we can “live forever"!

Question from the Internet:

“Do you think technology will eventually help humans live forever or cause them to be destroyed?”

Technology is a tool. What technology does depends on us, users, how we use it.

At the moment — driven by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, exploitative nature — we use everything for excessive individual profit, for weapons, to spy on each other, to manipulate others.
Thus everything, even our best inventions, finds become destructive, harmful.

We need a special technology first of all, the “technology of connection", to teach us, make us feel how to become successful by developing and using everything we can in a mutually responsible, mutually complementing way — copying how Nature works and succeeds.

If we can achieve such “Nature-like" — selfless, altruistic — interconnections and cooperation above and against our original program, inclination, we can even achieve the dream of “living forever".

Of course we can’t live forever in our biological bodies, but by rising above our original, egocentric and subjective consciousness, perception — that is locked into the illusory coordinates of time, space, physical motion — we can acquire a true, tangible sense of timeless, unbounded existence here and now!
