Why shouldn’t make hasty changes in the world?
Question from the Internet:
Why do so many people settle for the status quo in life rather than choosing to make a change?
There is a wise saying, “If you do not know what to do, it is better to sit and do nothing”.
If we look at people who go out and try to make changes all through history, we can see how much destruction and suffering those changes usually caused.
The problem is that we are all born with a 100% egocentric and subjective consciousness and perception of reality. We calculate and define everything through our instinctively “sweet/bitter” sensations, and all our calculations are based on a 100% introverted “pleasure/pain” system.
All the ideologies, philosophies or religions we develop to justify and implement the changes are arbitrary, without any objective or realistic foundations since we simply do not perceive and experience reality “as it is”.
This is why we need to change ourselves and how we perceive and approach others and the world around us before we want to make any further changes.
Only when at least a critical minority of people willingly and humbly develop a completely selfless and thus objective perception of reality — without any subjective and egocentric bias — can we understand who we are, what system we exist in and how we need to adapt ourselves to Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system.
