Why is the world unkind?
--
Question from the Internet:
“The world is unkind, who is the world?”
The world — the “human world” — is a collection of people. The world is unkind and destructive because the people who comprise the world are unkind and destructive.
And this does not mean, that there are “good vs. bad” people in the world as the media, ideologies, religions, and the leaders and influencers try to make us believe. We are all born unkind and destructive, as by default, we are all driven by an inherently 100% egocentric, self-serving, self-justifying, and individualistic nature.
As long as we still believe that there is something good in us, in any of us, and the problems and crisis situations are the result of the actions of others, as long as we want to change and manipulate others and the world around us so everything fits our egocentric and subjective viewpoint, nothing will change and we continue our sleepwalk or hastening march towards self-destruction.
Only when we already know and viscerally feel that there is nothing good in us by birth — except the ability to recognize this — and we also came to a state where we can simply not tolerate that we are like this and we have an insatiable and irre[pressible need to change ourselves and that even death is better than to live this way — since we destroy ourselves like cancer anyway — then we will receive the chance and ability to change ourselves and build a better world that is not unkind and not destructive.
