Why is Nature punishing us?

“What will be the punishment of nature?”

I think we are looking at this the wrong way.

Nature is a system built on strict, unchanging and unforgiving laws. When we learn and keep these laws we are doing fine. When we do not learn or ignore, break those laws we suffer.

Let’s say, for example, there is the law of gravity. We learn about it, experiment with different ways of using it, and in the end, we can learn to fly with different flying objects, flying aids. We can say that the law of gravity rewarded us.

On the other hand, if one ignores the law of gravity and jumps off a high cliff thinking this law does not apply, when the person seriously injures oneself or dies, who was punishing whom?

Nature does not reward or punish, we do. We reward or punish ourselves by either following, keeping Nature’s laws and we punish ourselves by ignoring, breaking those laws.
