Why do we see the world as a dark place?

Question from the Internet:

“Is it normal to start seeing the world as a very dark place when you become an adult?”

It seems to me, that today even teenagers started to see the world as a dark place, where life is aimless and self-destructive.

And this is because the way we live our life is actually and truly aimless and self-destructive.

As we are focusing only on consumerism and the totally brainless “circus and bread” entertainment, where we consider cheap celebrities and influencers as “icons and legends”, and every time somebody comes up with some stupid idea or action we consider it historic, we have lost any handle on what it means to be “Human beings” and what our meaning and purpose of life is.

But we are supposed to be intelligent, thoughtful, and emotional beings that cannot actually develop or exist without an overall purpose. And as we can see, without such overall purpose — that can guide and unite us towards a single goal above all our diversity and differences of opinions, we resort to ruthless competition and we destroy each other, the planet, and ourselves as hopeless addicts.

Without finding and fulfilling our unique, evolutionary Human purpose in existence we will not only see the world as a dark place, but we will turn everything into absolute darkness in a very tangible and realistic way.
