Why are we prone to self-destruction?

Question from the Internet:

“What are our capabilities to destroy ourselves as an individual and as humanity? Does destructive ability supersede constructive ability? How will we escape through our constructive abilities?”

We are all born with an inherently “cancer-like”, 100% self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and exploitative nature.

Knowingly, unknowingly we all try to excessively accumulate resources and profit for ourselves — each according to their abilities and given conditions — we all thrive on ruthless competition, surviving and succeeding at each other’s expense while depleting, destroying Nature.

Today we are incessantly in conflicts and at war, even in our own families, workplace, societies and between nations.

The moment we recognized, accepted that our own inherent nature is the root cause for all the harm and destruction we exist in, we can immediately start the real solution, remedy: purposefully, willingly, methodically changing, developing ourselves according to Nature’s fundamental laws that sustain the general balance and homeostasis that life depends on.
