Who is a good citizen?
Question from the Internet:
“How can a good citizen contribute to the community?”
For the answer, we would need to understand and accept what it means, that we exist in a fully integrated and interdependent world.
As a unique, empirical, and natural method can show us and make us feel, existence in this interconnected and interdependent world means that we are all but individual cells in a living organism.
We need to come to see and feel, that we are not any different from the cells of our own biological bodies, except for our individual and seemingly independent consciousness.
Thus a “good citizen” in any community — and in global humanity at the same time — is one, that can consciously and purposefully become a healthy, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing cell in the whole organism.
Our only human difference and vast advantage over other parts of nature is that we need to proactively and consciously achieve the mutual integration that is blind and instinctive to all other elements in nature.
This conscious and proactive mutual integration above and against our inherently egocentric, subjective, and individualistic worldview and behavior will give us a unique, unprecedented, and unparalleled insight and attainment of nature’s system.
We will come to a realistic and tangible sense as if we ourselves designed and operated nature’s cosmic system as a result.
