Which nation should disappear to make the world a better place?
Question from the Internet:
“The world would be a far better place if all the Chinese became extinct. Do you agree or disagree?”
I don’t know. I thought it was the Americans the world would do much better without.
After all, 1/4 of all the world’s resources are accumulated and consumed by the US. Almost all the conflicts and wars since the Second World War were instigated or fought by the US and its allies; even now, the wars breaking out or almost breaking out are provoked by America while purposefully weakening and destroying even its own allies in Europe in the process.
Without the negative American influence, the world would be a much better place, I think.
But in truth, America is simply the symbol of the most egoistic, hedonistic and narcissistic human nature we are all driven by.
We all wanted the American Dream and the power and wealth the US exerted over the world until the “good times” lasted. And if America disappeared, other powers would probably start acting similarly, trying to dominate everything and everybody according to their selfish benefit.
We can’t make the world a better place by blaming and removing certain people, groups of people, governments, nations or cultures. We all have to change and learn how to exist above and against our 100% selfish, egocentric and exploitative instincts in order to build a Nature-like, mutually responsible and mutually complementing human society.
And this has nothing to do with any of our arbitrary, misguided and unfounded theories, ideologies or philosophies or even our religions. We have to willingly and consciously adapt to Nature’s laws and its evolutionary flow because otherwise, we won’t survive in nature’s vast, infinitely powerful and deterministic system if we remain incompatible with it.
