Where is our true freedom in life?
Question from the Internet:
“What are the different types of freedom that you are aware of?”
It does not matter what we think about freedom or free choice. In our usual lives, we simply have no freedom at all.
It is true that we think we are making calculations and then we are making decisions. We feel like doing so. But in truth, behind every thought, behind every calculation and decision, there is already a deterministic program, our original inner software that has already made the decisions before “making us believe” as if we decided anything independently.
Our original, inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective and egocentric inner software controls everything we think and do. And since we are all integrated into humanity with billions of others with the same “personal computers” making their own deterministic, egocentric and subjective calculations and decisions, we all exist in a collective egocentric, selfish Matrix where everything is already decided and we are simply playing out our blind, unconscious roles.
The only true freedom we can achieve in this life is complete, unprecedented liberation from our all-powerful and all-controlling ego. This requires a unique process of self-assessment, self-recognition and faithful final decisions when we already reach a point that we simply can’t stand to be dictated and governed by the ego 100%.
We have to reach total despair by recognizing that regardless of what we think about ourselves and what we do, each and every thought and each and every action and decision we make is for a selfish benefit at the expense of others.
At the same time we also have to recognize that in the fully integrated and interdependent world we evolved into this existence and behaviour only for ourselves at the expense of others harms us as well, since in this fully, mutually integrated system we are totally interdependent and the lives of others equals my life. I am simply a cell in a living body with other people being the other cells and by my original “inner software” I act as cancer, destroying everything including myself.
When we reach this very tangible, “visceral” recognition we are ready to liberate ourselves from the ego, making a decision to give up everything we ever thought, learned, achieved and accumulated, so we could, as if, become born again into a selfless, unconditionally loving and serving existence — without the need to die from physical existence.
We have the suitable, purposeful and practical method that can help us achieve such a selfless, unconditionally and mutually integrated existence — similarly to Nature’s system — while we continue to exist as we are, in the same body and in the same world. “Only” how we relate and connect to others and what goals and purpose we live for changes.
But by that, we change everything, our whole existence, our whole thinking and experience about life changes.
