Can we engineer society to produce prosperity all the time?

Yes, we can. The question is what we consider “prosperity”.

At the moment, we define our lives as the production and consumption of goods and services. We define growth and prosperity by material wealth, GDP figures and stock market indexes; we even “measure” human beings by their monetary worth.

But this is completely unnatural and misguided. Our consumerist society is an artificial human creation within a Natural system that defines “growth and prosperity” completely differently.

And since we are born from Nature, we still exist in and evolve with Nature; we will need to take Nature’s “version” into consideration.

In Nature, “prosperity” means the creation, nurturing and development of life. In Nature, growth — while there is quantitative growth as well — is mainly qualitative. After the early developmental phase — like childhood — the emphasis is on the qualitative development of life.

When we look at our own biological bodies, after the “seemingly reckless” growth of childhood — which stops before the age of 20 in most cases — the rest of life is about becoming mature, becoming more understanding of our life and its purpose, creating and developing the next generations and among sure that they have the best possible conditions for existence and growth.

Such concepts are totally missing from our “modern”, especially Western societies, to such an extent that today we completely ignore the next generation and throw them under the bus on all counts.

We do not give them any humane goals or purpose, but we give them drugs, brainwashing virtual reality and circus and bread, confuse them even about their own gender and identity and dissuade them from having their own families so they would not have any futures.

We are not prospering at all; we are regressing in every aspect of human life while we still do not have any ideas about why we were born and why we are called “Human” in the first place!

If we want true and never-ending prosperity, we will need to completely change our goals and aspirations. We need to stop inventing our own totally misguided, self-serving and self-justifying ideologies, philosophies and systems.

Nothing in today’s human society has any truly Human merit! Nothing! Everything we ever created, developed or believed in is fake and destructive, mostly self-destructive!

If we want prosperity, if we want to learn who we are and why we are here, we need to learn from and follow Nature and become similar to the Natural system through our mutual integration with each other.

Then, through Nature-like mutual integration, we will find not only “prosperity” but also true happiness and fulfilment in life.
