What’s your biggest concern during the COVID-19 quarantine?

My biggest concern is in which direction we will want to restart our lives.

Are we going to stubbornly return to the “old life”, ignoring all the alarming signs we already received before the pandemic started? Do we really think we can succeed and continue with our unnatural, excessively overproducing, overconsuming socio-economic system that is built on paying increasing debts with even greater debts?

Can a single species survive by ruthlessly, exclusively fighting for resources and survival between them, succeeding at each other’s expense while depleting the planet?!

If we still believe so, then we are matching Einstein’s description of insanity, trying the same, constantly failing methods, actions while expecting different results!

I really hope that there is at least a healthy, suitable minority, a special “critical mass” of people who understand that we cannot keep going against Nature’s “iron laws” that sustain the balance and homeostasis life depends on in the closed, integral, interdependent Natural system.

The changes won’t come from the present “leadership”, experts, “opinion influencers”, since they are helplessly locked into their ivory towers that can measure anything only through material wealth and individual power, they are not fitting to guide Humanity towards the global, integral system we will need to exist in from now on.

Thus the changes have to come “from below”, from the grassroots, starting with small, purposeful and methodical “cells”, that later can become the foundation of the new Human system while the present bubble fully bursts.
