Question from the Internet:
“How hollow or credible is the threat that socialism will eventually replace capitalism? Why?”
Until now, human history has been a blind and instinctive affair.
Based on our inherently “raw capitalistic” nature, wanting everything for ourselves while succeeding at the expense of others, chasing individual control and glory, we usually develop a mainly capitalistic system.
Then when the inevitable inequality and exploitation reach a certain intolerable level, the unrests and revolutions against the rich elite swing us towards “leftist” ideologies and if the revolutions are successful systems as well.
But as the egotistic and selfish human nature corrupts the “leftist” agendas and systems and people want personal possessions and individual freedom, the “leftist” system breaks, and we swing back to the “right”.
And then the whole process keeps repeating until we consume and destroy everything, to which point we are very close today.
Socialism or communism cannot replace capitalism, and capitalism cannot offer a sustainable human system either.
Instead, we need a completely different system that is not based on our arbitrary, inherently self-serving, self-justifying and exploitative ideologies, philosophies and religions. We need a human system that mirrors Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system.
In a Nature-like human society, each and every individual and nation will find and fulfil their most optimal, unique and irreplaceable roles and purpose. Each and every individual and nation will exist and behave in a positive, constructive, selfless and mutually responsible and mutually complementing way.
At the same time, everybody will justly and proportionately receive everything they need and deserve to maintain their crucially important and irreplaceable mutual contribution. At the same time, our lifestyle will adjust to the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.
This cannot be forced or coerced on people and will not result from misleading propaganda or the “Matrix-like” brainwashing we have today.
We will have to build this perfect, Nature-like human society as a result of the right, purposeful and practical educational method, which people will join willingly after understanding that the changes they have to go through are for their best interest.
And this will happen when either through increasing blows, wars, socioeconomic collapse and intolerable suffering or with the help of this educational method, we understand and viscerally feel how interdependent we are.
