What new civilization awaits us?

Question from the Internet:

“How do you know when a new civilization is developing?”

Usually, we can predict it by the present, actual civilization dying, collapsing.

Then after the usual civilization-ending explosion — as it has been happening through the helplessly recurring vicious historic cycles — a new civilization starts developing based on new ideas, new hopes, seemingly learning from the mistakes, failures of the past — until we start inevitably repeating the same mistakes, failures all over again.

I think most people recognize that our present civilization is dying, collapsing. We managed to distort, corrupt even the most promising human system based on “liberal, parliamentary democracy and free-market capitalism”.

The problem is that we do not have any new ideas, we do not even have new hopes for a future civilization, as we have truly tried and failed in all possible permutations of political, social, and economic systems. Our human development that was based on, driven by the inherently selfish, exploitative human ego, has exhausted itself.

If we allow ourselves to sleepwalk into our own civilization-ending explosion — that can come from a total socio-economic collapse, wars, or from our inability to solve our mounting global problems with pandemics, climate change, pollution, water, and food shortage, then we can wipe most of humanity out from existence.

And the remaining few would still need to understand that the problem we need to solve is our own selfish, individualistic and exploitative ego. A new human civilization can only be successful if we consciously, methodically start changing, upgrading the human being, instead of trying to change, reform, suppress or delete everybody and everything around ourselves.
