What is worth having?

Question from the Internet:

“What is worth having?”

Our matter, the engine that drives us, is the desire for pleasures, the desire to get fulfillment for ourselves. We sense existence, we feel we are alive through the appearning desires in us that demand and receive fulfillment.

In what form this insatiable and constantly growing desire for fulfillment is dressing into depends on many factors,

We have our basic, animate desires for survival, food, sex, family and shelter. And beyond these basic, survival desires, we have constantly changing and emergin desires as a result of the environment, society we live in influencing us.

When the basic necessities are catered for, “what is worth having” depends on what is actually fashinable and promoted around us. Gradually we have created a real-life “Matrix” which we exist in, which programs us minute by minute, creating artificial deficiencies and new desires in us so we wouold constantly fall for the overwhelming consumerism that keeps our modern society alive.

As a result, we have defined our purpose in life to crave for and obtain whatever this “Matrix” is telling us to crave and obtain. This “Matrix” surrounds us from all angles and it influences us 24/7, so we cannot escame it.

At the same time, unbeknown to us, there is a previously hidden and dormant desire that is awakening in more and more people – in parallel to the inevitable decline of our pointless and aimless “Matrix”, which is now demaning a very different pleasure and fulfillment. And while at this stage this desire is still not sufficiently formed and matured in most people, it is already making us unsettled, anxious on the one hand, while giving us new hope and a new direction on the other hand.

This new, elemental desire that is erupting in us demands an answer and fulfillment for a great need – the actual meaning and purpose of our Human life – which is the only need worth having, since without it we can’t even say we actually exist.

Until now, millennia of human existence has been simply a preparation for us to awaken with these questions and start our conscious and purposeful development. Before we start this conscious and purposeful development towards our unique, evolutionary Human purpose in life, we cannot be defined as “human beings”, and we cannot say we lived a life.

Today we are approaching our actual birth point towards becoming Human beings that live and exist. In order to hasten and facilitate this development, we need to build unique and purposeful human environments, groups that are organized solely around this new, truly Human need in us.
