What is the true solution to the world’s problems?

Question from the Internet:

Will the final solution solve the world’s problems?

Since Nazi Germany's “Final Solution” for the Jewish people, the expression “final solution” brings unpleasant feelings to some people, including myself. So I am not completely sure what you are referring to.

On the other hand, I agree with you that as we look at the state of the world and our seemingly inevitable march towards self-destruction, we definitely need some true and working solution to our problems.

In order to find such a solution, we would need to find the root cause of our problems first. And as more and more people recognize today, this root cause is not somewhere in the world; it is not in other people we would like to believe usually. The root cause of all historical and contemporary problems humanity has ever faced is within us.

We are all born with an inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and exploitative nature. We cannot build positive, constructive, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing interconnections and cooperation as we all view each other as potential enemies we need to compete and fight with. We all want to control, manipulate and exploit each other.

Thus the “final — the only — solution” for our problems is willingly, purposefully and methodically changing and further developing ourselves, so we can start acting and existing above and outside of our original nature and inner program, shifting from the intention of “100% for my own sake” to the intention of “100% for the sake of others and the whole system”.
