What is the single problem we need to fix?

Question from the Internet:

“What are some problems we face in humanity, and how can we fix them?”

We are facing only a single problem, and as a result, we need only a single solution.

Driven by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and individualistic nature, we cannot build and sustain positive and constructive relationships and cooperation with each other.

We connect and cooperate only when our basic instincts dictate so in the family — although even that is not enough in our generation — or when the “connection” or “alliance” brings us some selfish benefit, reward or profit.

And since, at the same time, we exist in a fully integrated and interdependent world, all problem-solving and collective survival depends solely on the quantity and quality of connections and cooperation between us.

Thus the solution to all the problems humanity is facing — which all originate from our inability to interconnect and cooperate — is to learn how to build “Nature-like”, mutually responsible and mutually complementing integration and cooperation between individuals and nations — above and against our instinctive nature.
