What is the purpose of our sense of goodness and our value system?

Question from the Internet:

“What is the purpose of our sense of goodness / our value system?”

In truth, our “sense of goodness” and our “value” system are arbitrary and based on our inherently egocentric and subjective consciousness and perception of reality.

Anything we create, invent or develop serves only self-interest, and it does so at the expense of others.

The purpose of this inherently false and destructive “sense of good” and “value” system is to serve as an obvious contrast and foundation to develop a true and correct “sense of good” and “value” system against it.

Of course, for that, we would need an objective and “non-human” gold standard since, without it, we would continue relying on our inherently egocentric and subjective calculations and worldview.

This is why we need a unique, purposeful and practical educational method that is based on the objective and empirical study of human nature in contrast to Nature’s perfectly balanced and mutually integrated system.

With the help of this method and science, we can learn how to change our existence and behaviour according to the fundamental laws of Nature that govern the general balance and mutual integration that life depends on.

And then, our original “negative” qualities and nature will serve as the necessary contrast and baseline to verify and justify the new, “truly good and truly valuable” qualities and human existence.
