What is the purpose of mankind?

Question from the Internet:

What is the goal of mankind?

The goal, and purpose of mankind — as defined by Nature’s deterministic evolution — is to become the Natural system’s only conscious, integrated and at the same time independent observers and partners.

This is the reason why initially we are born with a seemingly “unnatural”, cancer-like, inherently selfish, egocentric, subjective and exploitative nature. It is this nature in us that drove history’s helplessly recurring vicious cycles and brought us to the brink of self-destruction.

At the same time we also have a — so far mostly unused — unique human intellect, that is capable of critical self-assessment and initiating self-change, self-development.

Only when we all — starting with a unique, critical minority — recognize that need to change, further develop ourselves (instead of correcting, changing, defeating, destroying others or manipulating the world around us), then we can start the truly Human part of our evolution towards willing, conscious adaptation to, integration with Nature above and against our instincts.

And this is how we can find and fulfil our predetermined role in the system. As we go through this self-development, conscious integration into the system, we achieve such an “insider” attainment of Nature’s laws, all the cause and effect processes creating, sustaining, influencing life, that “in the end” we will gain a realistic, tangible sensation as if we ourselves designed, governed the whole system.

By that, the Universe will truly, actually become “our oyster”…
