What is the Human ego?

We have always lived in the “era of the ego”, our human ego is our engine, driving force, the only thing that differentiates us from animals, from other developed primates for example.

Without the drive of the self-serving, self-justifying, individualistic, and exploitative ego we would be exactly the same as chimpanzees, orangutans that remained unchanged for millions of years.

Moreover, this inherent ego in us has been growing, intensifying constantly this is how human evolution has been exponential. And by today, we have reached such a “cancer-like” behavior that our survival is in question.

The human ego is not “our fault or sin”, Nature’s evolution installed it in us to separate human beings from other animals. And in order to help us learn what we should be doing with this volatile, explosive inner engine evolution also gave us a unique Human intellect that is capable of critical self-assessment and initiating self-change.

Finally, in this generation, when masses of people start to recognize and accept that it is the ego that is behind all our problems, moreover it is not only the ego of others but especially the ego that works inside ourselves that is the problem. This opens the way to finally use our Human intellect and start purposefully, methodically changing, correcting, upgrading ourselves — instead of changing, correcting, blaming others — to learn how we can harness, channel the all-powerful, irrepressible ego for positive, collective purposes goals.

Moreover, by this, we can also achieve compatibility, integration with Nature’s finely balanced, integral system and acquire a qualitatively much higher sense of existence as Nature’s only conscious observers and partners.
