What is the consequence of human development

Question from the Internet:

“What are the consequences of human flourishing?”

It depends on how in what way we are flourishing.

As long as we “flourish”, develop, progress by blindly following our inherent nature, developing, profiting at the expense of others and Nature, we are harmful like cancer and gradually self-destruct. Our generation already stands at the threshold of such self-destruction due to the selfish, egocentric, exploitative “flourishing”.

On the other hand, if we learn how to “flourish”, progress according to Nature’s strict laws that sustain, govern the general balance and homeostasis life depends on — doing this consciously, above and against our subjective, egocentric instincts — then we won’t only flourish truly, but we will also promote, facilitate positive development in the whole system, becoming Nature’s only conscious, proactive observers and partners.
