What is our mission in this world?

Question from the Internet:

“What is our mission in this world?”

As you write, we have a “mission”, our unique purpose in this world. And it is not something we can or need to invent for ourselves, as our unique Human purpose in the world is predetermined by nature’s evolution.

We are supposed to become Nature’s only conscious, on one hand fully, actively integrated, at the same time independent and objective observers, partners.

For this reason, Nature gave us life with a completely “unnatural”, egocentric, subjective, individualistic, and exploitative nature.

This inherent nature, inner program drove human history very differently from other developed primates, propelling us to our unprecedented cultural, technological, special development. But this inner program also makes us behave like cancer in Nature’s fully integrated and interdependent system, as we incessantly, recklessly, excessively overconsume, accumulating everything selfishly vastly beyond our actual necessities.

But Nature also gave us an also unique Human intellect, making us capable of critical self-assessment and initiating special self-correction, self-upgrade in order to consciously, proactively integrate into Nature above and against our instincts.

This process will provide us with the unparalleled duality — between unnatural, selfish egoism and natural altruism, mutual integration — which enables us to fulfill the above-mentioned unique Human evolutionary purpose, “mission”.

Our integration into Nature unfolds through first of all learning how to build Nature-like mutual integration with others, building Nature-like, mutually integrated human societies.
