What is our impact on each other?
Question from the Internet:
“How can individuals impact individuals?”
This is a very good question. As long as we all remain as seemingly independent, standalone, egocentric and subjective individuals, we have only a negative impact on each other since we all want to control, manipulate and exploit one another for our own gain.
And our world is the result of this negative mutual impact between individual people and nations, as we all ruthlessly compete, try to accumulate whatever we can for ourselves, and all succeed and survive at each other’s expense.
If we learned and started to actually and “viscerally” feel that we are in fact individual cells of the same, closed, living organism, if we all understood that our individual survival depended on the collective survival of the whole, our attitude and impact would change dramatically — to positive, constructive and mutually complementing.
This is why we greatly need a unique, purposeful and highly practical educational method that can help us understand and actually and tangibly feel our total interdependence on each other on a global scale.
