What is our free choice, do we have free choice?

An opinion from the Internet:

“This theory of living in a predetermined reality is very familiar for some reason. I think I heard something like a black hole being a big movie projector and it is just replaying what already happened. However, thinking that it is already predetermined, wouldn’t it make many to throw away even the basic ethics, thinking that it is already written, so it does not matter? Yet this is a choice itself. In my opinion, we do have choices although it is limited to yes and no, and each of these decisions will bring a different outcome.”

I fully understand you, it is something very difficult to get our head around.

Try to understand, see as if there were 2 layers of reality, an actual true reality, and another layer where we actually feel ourselves through inherently egocentric subjective, and thus limited perception of reality.

At this stage, we are fully convinced that we exist in this “illusory reality” our own limited consciousness projects to us, where we have free choice and according to our choices things change. We have no idea about the true process, with its starting and endpoint and the cause and effect processes in between.

So we live according to the laws of the world we created with our consciousness.

Now there is a possibility to slowly, gradually disconnect ourselves from the self-generated Matrix and come to sense the true, actual reality, while this reality we feel now does not disappear but sort of blends in, fades into the background.

Here is a different angle to look at this from:

Imagine our lives right now, as the pixels we see on the computer screen, already predetermined by the interaction of the hardware and the software. It is the final picture, nothing can be changed.

But what if, we could delve deeper into the hardware and then enter the software where all the coding, changes are made?!

We might not be able to actually change anything, but we would gradually examine, learn, fully understand how and for what purpose the whole coding, changes, development is made. As a result, we could become equal to the original “programmer” which we can identify with different definitions, “Creator”, “god”, or Nature’s evolutionary force. The point is, we can feel ourselves as the designers, owners of the whole system after attaining all the details and the blueprint.
