What is happening to humanity?!

Until now, human evolution and development have been a blind and instinctive affair. Everything we have ever done and built was by the power of our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective and individualistic ego.

Our insatiable and ever-growing desire for control and incessantly growing profit has fueled our incredible cultural and technological development. All our civilizations have been built on personal success and survival at the expense of others and Nature.

And now, we have reached a dead-end of this self-serving, narcissistic and hedonistic human development which has reached its peak and self-destructive ability with the “American Dream”. We have been in a steady decline for decades, actually, but the signs nobody can ignore anymore appeared only in the last few years.

Some — mainly the brainwashing global media machinery and propaganda — still try to whitewash the ever-deepening crisis, but we cannot ignore or undo the damage that has already been done.

Now human survival depends on how quickly at least a critical minority recognizes the urgent need to change ourselves and to change how we relate to each other and Nature. We will have to swallow the bitter pill of looking at our inherent nature and recognizing the “cancer within” in order to grow the pressing need for change.

Only when we — at least the above-mentioned critical minority — understand and feel that we have to change ourselves — instead of blaming, changing, correcting and destroying others — can we start pulling ourselves out of the [present “death spiral” and build a better, safer, more peaceful and equal sustainable human society.
