What is actual prayer, and how do we get an answer?!

Question from the Internet:

“Do you have a specific example where "Thoughts and Prayers" ever provided a real-world solution to anything other than as a political panacea?”

This is actually a very complex question, and in order to get closer to an answer we need to examine such concepts as “prayer", who we pray to, who we can await an answer from and what that answer might be.

And if possible we would need to steer the scrutiny away from the usual religious interpretation to find a way for practical implementation.
Based on its Hebrew origin “prayer” means “judging oneself".

This means that a person judges one’s actual state compared to a different, higher, more ideal state. The gap one feels between the actual, intolerable and a desired, better state itself is the prayer. This doesn’t need words, speech or writing. This pressing inner feeling is the actual prayer.

Who do we pray to, who can answer our prayers?
We exist in a deterministic, “intelligent” natural system that is relentlessly evolving towards a final, most optimal state — which is the perfect, seamless integration of the natural universe into a single system that feels, operates as one.

In this process humanity has a very unique, predetermined role, purpose — we have to become the independent, conscious, partnering mind of the whole system, fully understanding, justifying everything that ever happened, happens and will happen as we fully understand that everything is purposeful, leaving towards a perfect final goal.

So as long as our determined, higher, more optimal state we “pray" for is selfish, egoistic, only for our own benefit — as it is usually, driven by our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, subjective and exploitative nature — our “prayers" will either receive no answers, or we receive something we didn’t ask for, making our state seemingly even worse from our inherently egocentric, subjective point of view.

But if we study and understand nature’s evolutionary direction, and our only aspiration is to facilitate that direction and unconditionally become benevolent partners in the process, suddenly each desire, aspiration we have will get positive assistance from nature and we will feel as if flying on wings, becoming capable of things, actions we never though were possible.
