What is actual freedom?!

Question from the Internet:

“What does freedom mean to you, and what do you expect from your government?”

First of all, the easy part: I do not expect anything from my or any government. They have no clue about anything except how to gain and maintain their power, how to win the next elections, and manipulate their people as much as they can.

Regarding freedom — and this is the difficult part — we have been living in an illusion, we have been living in a “dream” which is now turning into a nightmare.

All through human history and within our own lives as well we stubbornly believe in personal freedom, that we can dream, decide and act as we want.

On the other hand, now we realize, that we exist in a fully integrated and interdependent world — necessitated by Nature’s laws of integration — where disconnected, subjective, selfish individual action leads to problems, disaster.

If we needed any proof, we have received it through the pandemic, through the desperate helplessness against climate change, through the evolving war in Ukraine that can easily sill into a world war fought with nuclear weapons as nobody can beyond their narrow self-interest.

But if we do not have any individual freedom as life is teaching it to us right now, what does freedom mean?

True freedom means liberation from our inherently “claustrophobic, subjective and egocentric” viewpoint, becoming able to make calculations and actions for the sake, for the wellbeing of the whole collective — humanity and also Nature — and by that facilitating, sustaining the all-important general balance and homeostasis life depends on.

Moreover, by liberating ourselves from the original, limited, and distorted subjective, egocentric viewpoint, we acquire a completely new, unprecedented sense of existence, above and independent of the original egocentric and subjective limitations of time, space, and physical motion.

By liberating ourselves from the subjective ego, we become free to roam and completely limitless, eternal reality through each other in a totally realistic, tangible way, here and now.
