What does it mean that Israel has to become “Light unto others?”

Even two weeks ago, Israel was still in a state of disunity. In fact, there was another large-scale protest planned for the day of the Hamas attacks. Different segments of Israeli society have been furiously fighting one another, threatening a real civil war, which has not happened in modern Israel, although it happened throughout Jewish history.

Then, the brutal and inhumane attacks on civilians, children, and women unfolded, and Israel is now in a state of war, potentially facing a long and multi-frontal war for its existence.

And now, for the time being, Israel is in a state of unity, mutual responsibility, and mutual guarantee. An unprecedented number of reservists were drafted in, and those who were not expected to fight served others with everything they had.

Still, this unity, out of collective blow and suffering, is not the unique Jewish unity that has to become a beacon for the rest of the world. Any nation, community, or even an assembly of animals would respond to such collective blows and suffering with unity and mutual responsibility.

Moreover, even this revived unity as a result of collective blows and suffering is not enough to protect Israel from external enemies. The Jewish nation relies on the help of others and, at the moment, welcomes the honestly unexpected unconditional support from the US and others. It is another question of how long such support might last and what its true reason is, as Israel might just be caught in the middle of a much larger “geopolitical game” between superpowers.

The truly unique unity and mutual guarantee Israel and the world need, and that can defeat all evil — both internal and external is something only Israel can achieve and then teach others. This is the very unity and mutual guarantee the Jewish people and Nation was established upon on the unique merit and qualities of the so-called “forefathers.”

These unique, sensitive people who assembled together through their special and similar qualities became able to humbly recognize the inherently selfish, exploitative, and hateful ego driving them in everything they did and managed to build true unity and mutual guarantee above and despite the burning hatred between them.

This is what the symbolism of the Jewish people committing to unity and mutual guarantee while standing around the “Mountain of Hatred” (Mount Sinai) actually means. The original Jews, and then Jews for many subsequent generations, knew that although they had vast and seemingly unbridgeable differences, distrust, and animosity between them, they needed to develop and keep a unity and mutual responsibility between them that could neutralize and control the division, infighting, and rejection in a way that even the negative qualities and the ego can fuel and drive their unique and mutual coexistence with its incredible and unsupressible force.

Moreover, this unity, the “brotherly love” they could generate and sustain above and against the egoistic “unfounded hatred,” also enabled them to attain unique, developmental natural forces, as if opening a unique valve. By becoming similar to nature’s singular, life-creating, and life-nurturing force that operates through selfless and unconditional love and bestowal — which Jews achieved through their brotherly unity — they revealed and became able to harness this force.

This is also what the original Jews seeing and feeling “God” on top of “Mount Sinai” means.

When Jews unite using their own, original tried and tested method, without the need for collective blows and suffering, they become able to summon and harness nature’s singular, life-creating, and life-nurturing force field that can overcome anything and everything, as long as it is used for positive, constructive and mutually beneficial goals and purpose, agreeing with nature’s general laws and evolution’s direction towards a perfect, finely-balanced and mutually integrated system.

This is not something mystical, utopian, or religious. This is based on the most fundamental laws of nature, and it agrees with nature’s deterministic evolutionary plan.

Moreover, achieving such nature-like unity and mutual guarantee that matches nature’s system is the only way any nation and humanity in general can survive.

Israel, the Jewish people are “chosen” by nature’s evolution to become the transition and guides who can develop and then teach and publicize their unique unity, “brotherly love above baseless hatred,” in order to achieve similarity with nature.

When Jews learn and practice the only purpose they exist, their fortunes improve, and they go from strength to strength, and together with them, the whole world improves. When Jews forsake their “destiny,” meaning their evolutionary purpose, they find themselves in terrible existential threat while the world descends into chaos and mutual destruction.

True Jewish unity, that is not provoked by collective pain and suffering is like a special “valve” that can open nature’s positive and constructive forces to assist and guide Jews and humanity towards our predetermined and very high evolutionary Human purpose in nature’s system. If the valve remains closed, humanity nears self-destruction and very dark times like today.
