What do we need to do in order to build peace?

Question from the Internet:

“What should humans do in order to be at peace with each other and their environment?”

In order to reach peace between us and the environment, first, we have to create peace inside of us.

The reason we have never been able to achieve true and sustainable peace throughout human history is the warmongering, ruthlessly competitive, and cancer-like nature, the human ego that drives all of us without exception.

And at this stage, we are not even aware of this inner “war-machine” fueling all of us.

Most people honestly believe that they are for peace and coexistence. We honestly believe that we can accept and even serve others. As a result, we continue with the helplessly recurring vicious cycles and consume each other and nature like cancer.

Without the crucially important and brutally honest self-recognition, without building an irrepressible and intolerable need to change and further develop ourselves — instead of blaming, correcting, manipulating, exploiting, or destroying others and nature — we will never have true peace and will continue on the path of self-destruction.

Only when we learn and practice how to accept others and build mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation — above and against our inherent nature that cannot be suppressed or erased — then will we have true and sustainable peace between us and between humanity and nature.

Without willingly, humbly, and purposefully changing ourselves nothing good will happen.
