What do we need for world peace?
Question from the Internet:
“If you had the power to change or discard one thing in this world, what would it be? I would want world peace.”
Yes, we need “world peace”.
The Hebrew translation of “peace” is “Shalom”, coming from the notion of completeness or complementation.
Which means, that we will have “true peace”, when we all learn how to mutually and most optimally complement one another – on a global scale – above and against our inherently egocentric, subjective and individualistic nature.
We can observe “true peace” all around us in nature, how the myriads of diverse and seemingly incompatible elements mutually complement each other to selflessly serve the so-called “circle of life”, facilitating life and optimal development for the whole system.
All other elements of nature – apart from humans – become part of the single, finely balanced, mutually integrated and thus “peaceful” system by default, instinctively.
Only human beings need to achieve the same state of “peace” consciously, willingly and against our inherent nature. It is this “supernatural” – above inherent nature – and conscious self-development that will make us “truly Human”: similar to nature above and against our instincts.
And this unique and unparalleled process of rising above our inherent nature and becoming similar to nature also gives us a complete and objective insight into nature’s system. We will attain the whole system from within and become its only fully conscious, integrated and at the same time independent observers and equal partners.
This is our Human purpose in life.
