What defines Humanity?
Question from the Internet:
“What is the practice that humans have maintained since the beginning until now?”
The only thing that differentiates human beings from other developed primates — we originate from the same original source with them and started from the same natural environment — is the human ego.
It is this insatiable, self-serving, self-centered, and exploitative ego that slowly disconnected, separated us from the finely balanced Natural environment, as we started to build the increasingly artificial, unnatural human civilizations.
And by now our incompatibility with, opposition to Nature has become so complete, that we became “cancer” in Nature’s fully integrated, interdependent system, driving ourselves and the planet towards extinction.
At this stage only this consistently egoistic, unnatural “practice” identifies us as humans in Nature.
On the other hand, according to Nature’s deterministic, relentless evolutionary plan, we reach our “true Humanity” when we purposefully, consciously, proactively change, correct, upgrade ourselves until we reach total compatibility and integration with Nature above and against our instinctive behavior.
It is this conscious, methodical self-change and they acquired contrast between our original program and the upgraded one that will make us become Human: a being that becomes similar to Nature by its own efforts above and against its original instincts — in order to complete and justify Natures evolution and Nature’s predetermined role for us.
