What builds and drives the systems in human society?

Question from the Internet:

“What are the major systems in our society?”

The systems and the ideologies by which they work are not important. They constantly change, evolve, break down and then renew again.

What is important is what creates these systems and the ideologies driving them.

And it is our inherently self-centred, individualistic, subjective and exploitative nature that invents, creates and builds everything in society.

All our culture, the fabric of society, all the ideologies and philosophies, the religions, the values and goals that determine our lives are the products of the human ego that controls us.

And the hallmark of this insatiable human ego is the irrepressible desire to succeed at each other’s expense, to control, manipulate and exploit others in any given situation.

This is what determines and drives human life from the cradle to the coffin. And unless we recognize the ego behind everything we do and come to hate and reject what the ego does to us, we will never change, society will never change, and we will continue our totally self-destructive, cancer-like lifestyle and behaviour until we consume everything, including ourselves.
