We will truly love ourselves by learning how to love others

Question from the Internet:

“Would the world be a better place if we could learn to love ourselves?”

Yes, but only in an indirect way.

We are born with instinctive “self-love”, existing in a completely egocentric, subjective way, making each and every calculation — mostly unconsciously — only for our own benefit.

This self-centered, self-protective, introverted existence is the cause of all our mounting problems in an integrated Natural system, where only selfless, altruistic, mutually responsible, mutually complementing connections, cooperation facilitate life and positive development.

As a result, we all need to purposefully, consciously, methodically learn “loving others as ourselves” — which is not religious dogma or mystical slogan, but Nature’s law of integration in a symbolic Human language. We have to learn how to behave, interact in a way, where all make their calculations primarily for the benefit of others, for the benefit of the whole system — above and despite our inherent nature.

Then by elevating Humanity to a qualitatively much higher level of existence, acquiring a special, unprecedented collective consciousness, perception of reality, we will start to “truly” love ourselves.

This will unfold through sensing the revolutionary positive changes we have caused to the whole system by selflessly, altruistically loving, serving others — while sensing the same perfect, “true” love from others towards ourselves.
