Question from the Internet:
“How do people define a good or bad society?”
Each according to their own, egocentric, subjective perception, “pleasure/pain calculations”. What is good for me is good, what is bad for me is bad.
Then some of the stronger, more powerful people who have some common interest create a law to secure their own interest in the most effective way, and that will become the laws of society.
Then through history as such egocentric, subjective arrangement can’t be sustainable we keep changing the laws and definitions of “good/bad” with fast changing ideologies, dogmas, political correctness, etc.
These vicious cycles will continue until we recognize how self-destructive it is to blindly follow our inherently egocentric, self-serving, self-justifying, subjective nature, and we learn how to come to true agreements, absolute standards of “good/bad” through a unique, methodically achieved selfless, objective perception of reality.
