We need to learn how to use knowledge in order to solve problems

Question from the Internet:

“Isaac Asimov said, "If knowledge can create problems, it is not through ignorance that we can solve them." What do you consider to be good traits of a problem solver?”

I fully agree with Asimov (the Foundation books were my favorite reading in my teenage years).

Knowledge is not the problem, how we use knowledge is the problem.

By default our consciousness, perception of reality is egocentric, subjective. We “upload” and use knowledge to serve selfish interest, to successfully compete against others, to survive at each other’s expense. This is our default program.

The good traits of a problem solver start from the recognition of how our original program works, why through history and in our individual life we keep running into the same mistakes, crimes, steps.

Only when we recognize the root cause - our own nature - can we start solving problems - by changing, correcting ourselves.

Everything depends on the “user”, based on what intentions, goals we act, develop, everything else depends on how the user is refined, upgraded.
