We need the right education, that teaches how to change ourselves

Opinion from the Internet on education being the solution for Humanity’s problems:

“I would require every person to have 12 years of education. Every year would include a course in science or math and mostly science. The science would be very broad and include much about the nature of humanity (so science may be too narrow a term). An important objective would be to teach the difference between belief and knowledge, knowledge requiring verification.
We need to recognize that we are in a very fundamental sense all alike and need to agree on that and treat each other the way we wish to be treated.
The most fundamental issue is why we are still at war with each other and a starting point would be to explain why people have different colors. The science shows we are all Africans and all started some shade of brown. Those that migrated north got less sun and our need for vitamin D made us loose our skin pigmentation and that all the white “superiority” means is that we migrated north and needed more sun. Middle latitudes mean brown. The Equator means black. That is a starting point for discussing differences.
Next. We like to feel secure and superior so we form tribes. Tribes sometimes believe in good and true things and sometimes believe what they want to believe. The more education the less tribalism is necessary to feel good about ourselves.
At this point in history we have the perfect storm of climate change, the virus, and a Republican party that believes in government of the rich by the rich and for the rich and has forced much of America into poverty. We are the cruelest of the rich nations in how we treat those with incomes less than a few million dollars.”

I agree with your assessment, but I feel that it doesn’t address the actual root cause of why Humanity - that truly originates from a single root - becomes more and more scattered and mutually hateful, ready for war the more we develop.

The root cause is the inherently selfish, egotistic, exploitative nature we are all born with. Human history is the chronicle of the ever-growing, intensifying Human ego. This is neither sinful nor evil since we were “created” this way by Nature’s evolution.

In our generation, we reached a very fragile, scary state where this ego (in many different forms, “clothed into people, political movements, ideologies, etc) is ready to self-destruct, explode everything if it can’t grab power, can’t rule over others.

This is now happening on a global scale, so the seemingly inevitable “civilization-ending” explosion would also be global, unprecedented in its scope.

There is no political, economic, social solution since whatever we know, every building is devised, built by the same ego.

This is why - as you also suggested - only education can help, as only through education can we change ourselves, upgrade our “operating software”. But this education needs to be very unique, teaching us what desires, forces, intentions truly drive us, and how incompatible we are with Nature’s system as a result, and how we can reach compatibility.

This requires a special method and also a special environment, where everything can be implemented in practice immediately, with positive emotional impressions, as only confidence in the method and in each other can facilitate the unprecedented, fundamental self-changes.

Then we will also understand that even being born egotistic was purposeful from Nature’s point of view, as only against a “negative” contrast — by changing ourselves to be opposite — can we consciously recognize, research, and attain Nature’s selfless, altruistic perfection.

This is our evolutionary Human advantage, consciously integrating into Nature by integrating with each other while retaining an independent, objective viewpoint with the help of our original, opposite nature.
