We need spirituality to reach a higher level of existence — above our inherently selfish egos

Opinion from the Internet about spirituality:

“Whithout a spirituality there is no gain to be added over the natural laws of nature. There is carnivores out there as there is a sophisticated similarity in this human world in which you acknowledge as being self centered as many other species acting upon instincts acquired in nature since day two.

To think that carnivores kills to render a service to the pray is similar to the notion that we enslaved others for their benefits while in nature’s laws permitted .
It is the spiritual laws which are being transgressed or unknown in the natural word. It is the spirituality that open up new ways of relating and behaving towards all things and beings.

It is sure not the use of natural instinctiveness that carried on to climate change that more of the same is going to resolve the problem.

To my estimate the word Spirituality is a hard sell for those who have little of it in their materialistic imaginatory visions. Or, the expression of a super natural for all people can be used without explaining any spiritual values to it and on and on the merry-go -round, goes no where.

No spiritual science in the works of a better world is no great measure of having learned anything of most importance to an integrated world. Without it is a total failure in making it otherwise.

I fully agree with you that we can’t rise to a higher, more developed level of existence without spirituality.

The question is what we mean by that notion.

I am a bit surprised how people can’t accept that a carnivore eats its prey as it is the role the predator was given by Nature’s evolution and its perfectly balanced system. Humans have tried many times disturbing, “adjusting" this balance by removing the predators from certain ecosystems — for our own selfish sake — with tragic consequences.

The sensitive, fragile balance in Nature, the “circle of life" is perfect and it’s absolutely benevolent for all parts in it. But at this stage, we can’t comprehend this.

Our problem is that we try to project our totally misguided, self-serving, self-justifying human worldview on nature, while we still can’t comprehend how it works, what the purpose of each part, element in it has.

True “spirituality" is the opposite of “corporeality”, which — as the educational method I wrote about explains — means the difference between inherently selfish, egotistic, subjective calculations, or selfless, altruistic, nature-like calculations.

Corporeality is a life lived for the sake of the self only, while spirituality is a life lived for the sake of others, for the sake of the whole natural system we exist in.

By default we are born opposite to the spiritual ideal, living like cancer cells at each other’s expense. Now we are rudely awakened as we evolved into a globally integrated, totally interdependent system, where only through “spiritual" calculations, behavior — in other words becoming selfless, altruistic cells in Humanity’s “body" — can we survive.

And when we achieved this, then we will understand how Nature’s integral system works through the similarity we acquired, since perception, attainment depends on the similarity of qualities, frequencies.
