We need art, music in the future, ideal human society as well — as a connecting tool

Question from the Internet:

“In that ideal “nature-like” mutually integrated society you describe will there be a place for art, music, can it remain a useful, important profession?”

The bottom line is that we have to rebuild human society, where the overall focus is on building the “nature-like”, positive, constructive, sustainable, mutually responsible, mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation our life, survival depends on.

Moreover, we also have to adjust our lifestyle to remain within the optimal parameters of modern, healthy, natural necessities, essential services, and available resources, and that everything will be distributed fairly, according to people’s mutually complementing contribution to the whole.

Everything else will arrange itself around this. What professions, services remain, and how they are appreciated, paid will only depend on the above principles. As long as art, especially music in all forms is used to facilitate, maintain human connections it will remain extremely important in the future, ideal human society.

But art is not going to survive as part of the manipulative, brainwashing “circus and bread entertainment”, and will not remain as a vehicle for selfish fame and excessive wealth.
