We need a new education for Humanity’s new state
Question from the Internet:
“What permanent changes will the coronavirus make to high school education?”
The coronavirus will change education in general.
Until now our whole educational system had been based on the “industrial revolution” model, basically manufacturing producers and consumers of goods, services.
We are not raising, educating Human beings, we are producing cogwheels for a consumerist society.
Especially today when we started to realize that Humanity had evolved into a globally integrated fully interdependent system - where everything depends on the quantity and quality of Human interconnections - we need a new, “integral education” that can teach us make us feel that we are Human beings to the extent that we can mutually connect to other Human beings, above and a against our inherently egotistic, individualistic and exploitative tendencies.
The coronavirus with the evolving socioeconomic crisis that will collapse our previous unnatural, consumerist system gives us the opportunity for rethink, to change Human society through the new educational method.
