We need a Human education!
Question from the Internet:
“Is education offered around the world?”
Some sort of education is offered all around the world. The problem is, that even the most expensive, most coveted education is unsuitable for our evolutionary conditions and thus it does not help us.
Our present education system still uses the same principles as when it started in the industrial revolution. We produce people through factories, which people will become good producers and consumers of products. The aim of all levels of education is to upload the necessary information, skillset into people so they can do all kinds of jobs and then consume whatever is produced.
There is no emphasis on developing, building “Human beings”.
This has become especially apparent in our generation where we can’t deny any longer that humanity is basically a single, inevitably integrated and interdependent “superorganism” where each individual is a single cell of this one organism.
For many even the “global integral” world means only global markets, new opportunities to pursue the usual selfish, ruthless, exclusive competition, the usual profit and resource accumulation for the few at the expense of the many, and at the expense of Nature.
A truly “Human” education would explain to us why we were all born with a “cancer-like”, egocentric, exploitative nature, why, by default, humans are incompatible with Nature and how for what purpose we would need to consciously change ourselves so we could become compatible with Nature above and against our instincts.
A truly “Human” education would teach us what it means to be “Human beings” and how we can achieve that high, predetermined evolutionary level we need to reach.
