We have to grow up and start behaving like mature adults!

Question from the Internet:

“If humanity as a whole was symbolized as a single person, what age and other attributes would you describe it with?”

Humanity could be symbolized by a late teenager, coming to the end of one’s growth, expected to change behaviour and start living, existing as a mature adult.

Humanity went through turbulent history so far, with reckless exponential growth, breakneck development through recurring, vicious historic cycles.

We reached a threshold beyond which the same development, existence turns self-destructive in a very short time.

So far — like children — we believed that the world is our oyster, we can do whatever we want without any consequences, that we can take, change, replace, destroy and build anything according to our “childish", unshakeable belief in our egocentric, subjective, self-serving philosophies, ideologies, intellect.

Now suddenly Nature started warning us — in the form of the pandemic, and through the inevitable collapse of our excessively consuming, ruthlessly competitive, artificial system — that unless we learn what it means to be “truly Human" (to be similar, adapted to Nature), we will not survive.

Thus it is time to grow up and start developing consciously, above our “childish" instincts, accepting the Natural laws, principles that created, nurture and guide life in Nature as the template according to such an need to live, develop from now on.
