Question from the Internet:

“How can I change my distorted view of the world? I know there is good in the world but I just don’t see it. All I see is gloom, bleakness and gore.”

We all see the world in a subjective, introverted way. Some wise people suggest that we actually project the picture of the world around us through our own egocentric, personal qualities, as we can only notice things that we have similarity with, like a radio receiver that can only catch a broadcast it has matching frequencies with.

It is not only you who sees gloom and doom, we are all missing the positive, colorful frequencies by default. More precisely we only see something positive, beautiful if it gives us pleasures, profit.

And since there is only limited amount of such things around, most of the time we encounter events, objects, people that are undesirable for our selfish “pleasure/pain” calculations, so we either ignore them or perceive them in a negative way, especially when they are good, positive for others.

We are not to blame for this viewpoint as we are born with such a program, thus we are not responsible for it.

On the other hand when we had enough of seeing a dark, inhospitable world around us all the time, we have to opportunity and the ability to change the “3D movie” we are watching - by changing ourselves!

We can escape the dark caves we are born into, by learning how to perceive, sense, experience reality through the desires, thoughts and viewpoints of other people in unique conditions. Then we will suddenly discover a completely different, truly good and properties, full of life reality!
