We have all become interdependent!
Question from the Internet:
“What does the world have got to do with other’s life? Why don’t they focus on their own?”
This is a just question based on our inherently subjective and individualistic worldview. The problem is that while our worldview hasn’t changed, our evolutionary conditions did change.
As most people recognized and even accepted, we have evolved into a globally integrated and fully interdependent world. And this is not something we people developed, Nature’s fundamental laws — that govern the general balance and homeostasis in the fully integrated Natural system — moulded humanity to its own shape without our “consent”.
Obviously, driven by our inherent nature, we do not like it and we try to resist this “globalization”. We try to exploit the global markets and the interdependence as much as we can for our own selfish sake, but at the same time we want to hold onto the “truth” of “what is mine is mine and what is yours is yours”, and I have my personal space and independent life and nobody else has anything to do with it.
But we cannot hold onto this egocentric and subjective “truth” as we cannot go against Nature’s laws. If we do not understand and adapt ourselves to Nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system we will simply not survive evolution.
Our proud, modern human system — built on excessive, selfish consumption and the manipulation and exploitation of others and Nature — is already under tremendous strain and it is collapsing. And the global crisis with wars and socio-economic collapse will continue regardless of what we think or want to do, since — again — we cannot go against Nature’s fundamental laws that create and sustain life.
We have no other choice but to learn, understand and actually, tangibly feel how inevitable, mutually integrated and interdependent we have become. I have to feel that I simply cannot do whatever I want before I made the necessary calculations to safeguard my actions and even my thoughts that I do not harm the general, whole system.
This is a completely new way of life we never experienced before, but this new way of life has tremendous advantages and benefits for all of us. This is why we need a unique, purposeful and practical educational method that can help us through this transition through positive motivation, positive examples and constant positive feedback and emotional impressions to help us accept that the necessary changes are for our own benefit.
