We gain confidence in life through the environment we build

Question from the Internet:

“How can you stop negative thinking and replace negative thoughts with positive ones? How can you make positive thinking your habit?”

Although we consider ourselves independent, “standalone” creatures, we are all the products, replica of our environment. Thus our thoughts, mood, aspirations, desires are also almost completely determined by the people who surround us.

So in order to replace negative thoughts with positive ones, to gain confidence and gain the ability to progress undaunted towards well-defined goals, we need a purposeful, mutually supportive and mutually complementing environment around us.

Moreover we also need to become active, positive parts of that environment through different habits, commitments in inspiring, helping, serving the others in that environment.

Then all the positive energy we inject into the environment will come back to us multi-fold when we need it, like from an battery we keep charging when we can, and keep drawing from when we are in need.
