We don’t need AI, we need collective intelligence

Question from the Internet:

“What is your prediction for the fourth industrial revolution (after steam, electricity, and computing), that of artificial intelligence?”

My prediction is different.

In order to humanity to start solving the seemingly unsolvable, worsening global problems that threaten our existence, we need a unique collective consciousness, collective intelligence that can easily trump any AI we develop.

As long as we exist, act according to our inherently selfish, egocentric, exploitative nature, similarly to everything else we ever intended AI will be used to exploit each other, to oppress, defeat, manipulate and kill each other.

On the other hand, if we understand the survival necessity and learn how to build unique, positive, mustang responsible and mutually complementing cooperation above everything that separates, rejects us from each other, then we can elevate our collective existence to a qualitatively much higher level.

Then through the acquired collective consciousness, intelligence we can not only solve but we can prevent all the problems that are plaguing us right now - as they all come from our selfish, egotistic, subjective behaviour.
