We don’t know the desires, forces, intentions, inclinations driving us

Question from the Internet:

“Why aren’t modern Societies and governments ashamed of their wars and Oppressing, enslaving?”

We are not ashamed because we think we are not doing anything wrong.

According to our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and exploitative nature we are doing the right thing.

And if any harm, destruction happens it is always someone else’s fault, not ours, since we automatically justify anything we do.

And it does not apply only to certain individuals, groups of people, nations, political movements, etc. It applies to all of us even if we are not aware of this and we honestly think we are basically good people without any hint of egoism, exploitation of others.

Usually it takes a very dramatic, “life or death” situation to recognize in us the true desires, inclinations, intentions that truly drive us.

But we can avoid such dire scenarios and look into a “brutally honest” mirror in a unique environment, which is designed to reveal who we truly are, so we can change, correct ourselves.

Only then will we become able to build different, positive and constructive Human relationship, to establish better, more sustainable Human societies.
