We do not need to reinvent the Torah!

It is true that we need to embrace and build on our diversity. It is true that we have to accept and integrate our differences of opinions and build a common and sustainable whole that includes all.
But this has nothing to do with these “newly invented” ideologies.
Our original “Jewish method” through our greatest sages already provided the blueprint for building a society “as one man with one heart” as a result of a unique mutual guarantee, where each individual finds their unique, irreplaceable, and crucially important, mutually responsible and mutually complementing place in the family and the smaller and larger society.
Our Jewish laws are based on the most fundamental laws of nature; they do not need “reinventing” or replacing; we just need to learn how to apply them to our constantly changing conditions and circumstances without violating their most important aspects.
And, as even Rabbi Akiva stated, the single most important precept of the Torah is “Love your Friend as yourself” after we have already fulfilled the precept “Old Hillel” expressed as “Do not do to others what you yourself hate!”
These are very difficult commandments that require completely changing and further developing ourselves (instead of blaming and correcting others.)
This is why we constantly try to run away from fulfilling these commandments by inventing new, self-serving, and self-destructing ones, abandoning the very concepts that make us Jewish and Israel!
