We can’t survive anywhere without first changing our behavior!
Question from the Internet:
“If human beings built an artificial environment placed in space and designed to support a million people and no more, would there be people that believe they have the right to breed once the systems begin to break down?”
As you wrote, the system will inevitably start breaking down as everybody will feel the right to do whatever they deem proper to do.
It does not matter where and what kind of an environment we create, as long as we do not change our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egotistic, and subjective nature. We can(?) colonize other planets, or build artificial colonies on Earth or in space. Our inherent nature will consume it sooner or later as we have been doing with all our civilizations through history.
Humanity’s problem-solving ability and collective survival solely depend on changing, upgrading our inherent nature, learning how to build “Nature-like”, positive, mutually responsible, and mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation above and against our inherent nature.
Then we will be able to build a real-life “Garden of Eden” wherever we are, preferably on Earth.
