We can’t live beyond our means any longer — Nature won’t allow us!

Question from the Internet:

“Why do so many people live beyond their means when we all know there are periods of economic downturn?”

Because our whole society is built on excessive overconsumption, to want what we actually don’t need and can’t afford, ending up paying for increasing debts with further debts.

And even if know this is wrong, we can’t stop, as we are all born with an “addictive” Human nature, with an insatiable, irrepressible need for more, constantly chasing bigger, greater, more expensive, tastier, more twisted goods, pleasures, services.
Everything around us - the whole “Matrix” we willingly submit to - serves this, seemingly there is no escape!

Fortunately Nature’s system - built on strict, unbending, “iron” Natural laws sustaining the balance and homeostasis life depends on - is now breaking this “Matrix”.

Our socioeconomic system has been in perpetual crisis for decades, but we kept on reviving, resuscitating the “Matrix” with different manipulations, bailout, rescue packages, pouring trillions of dollar of “virtual money” to keep this unnatural system afloat.

Now the pandemic with it recurring waves, constant threat makes sure that the futile “life support” - delaying the inevitable - stops.

We are receiving an unprecedented chance to stop and reevaluate the life we have been living, the goals, purposes we have been chasing. We are given a very unique opportunity to rebuild Human society on very different foundations, value systems, aspirations - this time using Nature’s perfect template for the rebuilding.

This means basing Human society on mutually responsible, mutually complementing cooperation, and on a lifestyle within the optimal parameters of natural necessities and available resources.
We can choose to adapt ourselves to Nature’s laws willingly, consciously, methodically by our own efforts, or Nature will force is to do the same against our own will through intolerable suffering!
