We can’t erase our differences, we need to connect and cooperate above them!
Question from the Internet:
“What is the point of preserving cultures in a globalized world?”
Let’s say someone had the bright idea of homogenizing all the cells of the Human body, making them all identical.
After all they are all cells of the same body, so why should they differ?
These billions of different cells, seemingly all incompatible, with all the constant breaking down, rebuilding, cell-death and renewal, who needs this mess?!
Let’s make a much more simple, homogeneous body!
Can such a body survive?!!
Humanity is a closed, fully integrated system and we will have to learn how to cooperate, mutually complement each other to survive in Nature’s fully integrated system. But we will have to do that above and despite of our individual, national differences, different attributes, cultures and so on.
We can’t, mustn’t even attempt to erase those differences, contradictions!
Our unique Human ability comes from the dynamic tension, life arises from that tension, from the mutual connection, circulation, communication we need to learn, acquire above everything that separates, rejects people from each other.
