We cannot go back in development, only forward!

Question from the Internet:

“Can the world be attuned to its original form seeing the moral deterioration of humans escalate each day?”

Actually, we do not need to attune the world to its original value, I am not even sure what that original value would be. There is no reverse in evolution or in progressive development.

Our “moral decline”, the general collapse of our present civilization — after the similar, helplessly recurring vicious historic cycles — gives us a turning point and a jumping board to attune the world and ourselves very differently.

Until now, the whole of human history and development was a blind and instinctive affair, simply living out our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and individualistic desires for self-fulfilment for controlling and exploiting others.

And now, we have reached the dead-end of this instinctive, egoistic human development reaching a potentially self-exterminating state, toying with the idea of a nuclear world war, our whole socio-economic system — regardless of its ideology and its systems — is slipping through our fingers while we are completely defenceless against natural catastrophes and viruses since we are utterly unable to cooperate with each other in a positive and sustainable way.

In short, we have reached a dramatic and very sharp recognition that as long as we live according to our selfish, egoistic and individualistic instincts, we are incompatible with nature’s finely balanced and mutually integrated system and as a result, we have no right to exist in Nature’s system.

Our human uniqueness is this conscious ability to recognize what drove us to this point through humble self-criticism. If we all — or at least a crucially important critical minority — reach this recognition and also realize the need to attune and change ourselves to become adapted to Nature’s system, then we can start a completely new developmental path, taking our fate and completing our Human evolution into our own hands.

This is the true way forward and the true solution for humanity instead of looking back and trying to go back to some state we have already left.
